  1. This. Waghorn should consider himself lucky for having the chance to play for a massive club like Rangers. He is yet to prove himself against the stronger sides in the league. 500k for him and id happily let him eat his burgers elsewhere.
  2. So basically OP, we have no right to be unhappy with the current situation at the club? Let me tell you my part of the story then. Ive been a Rangers fan since the early 2000s, the first game ive ever watched was that win in Monaco, where Van Bronckhorst scored the winner. Back then i was a student and i did not have a computer to watch games, and even though i could go on a internet coffee bar and use a computer - bummer, i didnt know fuckin english at the time, so reading the sports pages outside the country wouldnt happen. So all the information i could get was highlights from CL games, and some sport newspaper i was buying. Thank fuck Stiliyan Petrov played for Celtic, because of him media in Bulgaria started having more articles about the SPL, Rangers included. So, times has passed, i bought my first pc and learned english. For the past 10 years ive been following the Gers regularly, and i havent seen people settling for such woeful performances on the park. As you could probably imagine, there arent so many Rangers fans in Bulgaria, most of the people would usually go for EPL, Spanish sides, because they can watch them on tv every weekend. And thats how i ended up in Rangersmedia 9 years ago, because at least here i could share my passion with other people from all around the world. Now, ive never been to a Rangers game in my life. Ive never seen a Rangers player live, except Van Bronkhorst in 2006, while he was stretching in a game for Barcelona in the CL. But 3 years ago i finally got a well paid job, so i can save money and hopefully, i will visit Ibrox sometime in 2017. If i think about it, theres some 3000 km separating me from Ibrox right now. Always been like that and most probably - always will be. So i would take your 300 miles right away, i would bike them every weekend, or i can hitchike aswell, no problem. My point is simple. Every Rangers fan have its own battle, following the team that they love. Some of the guys here are fighting with their wives, for not paying too much attention to them, and watching the Gers instead. Some others from Australia or South/North America, have to wake up in the middle of the night, in order to watch a Rangers game. Some people, like me, can only hope for internet to be fine, and that we have a free weekend every once in a while, so we can watch games. Other like you, have their 300 miles away.Whatever battle every single person here is facing, doesnt make him a less Rangers fan. And it doesnt mean that people are not allowed to express their anger towards mediocre performances and a manager, having no clue how to turn things around. Sorry for the long post.
  3. That 3-1 win at Piggery, Celtic scored actually twice and then we won. First it was Hooper, then Loovens equalised for us. Good days
  4. Since the beginning of the season, we can use any word in the dictionary for the way we move the ball around. Any other word, but ''quickly''. The only thing we do quick with the ball, is to get it back to the defense and the keeper. That semi final win was the best day for many of us. But it was the worst for the club in a longterm. Because it got players and management into thinking that the gap is closed and we have nothing to worry about. We understimated Hibs right away and it cost us European football and good income. And it seems that nobody got a grip of that final loss. Everyone seem to have been thinking that we will run the league by default, and it will be 55 in no time. Fans do have the right to think and hope for that, players and management dont. They need to be the ones who give their best, and make sure they earn their money, aswell as earn the honour of wearing the Rangers jersey every week. So far only few of them did that. And MWs stubborness to change his ways is not helping either.
  5. After he came on he looked like he ate Akinfenwa's lunch and dinner at once. Fat, unfit, and his first touch and mobility could only be compared to those of a tank.
  6. Given the disaster he had at Inter, is maybe more appropriate to him to go and try his luck at some lower league, meaning Scottish Premiership. He did very well at Ajax, why not try now with Rangers? Rodgers choose Scottish football afterall.
  7. 1. A good manager. 2. Quality players. 3. Passion.
  8. The reason the opposition has more yellow cards than we do, is because they are trying everything in their power to prevent us from taking 3 points off them. At the end of the game today, Routis took down brutally Windass, and got a yellow card. When you cant outplay your opponent with skills, then you push hard and you try other ways. Im not saying its pretty, but is to be expected from teams such as RC, with much smaller budget. If Rangers had the same passion, we wouldve been comfortably 2nd by now.
  9. The way it looks now, we wont make 15 out of 15 in a row until the end of the season. With our current manager at least.
  10. If i was at MWs place, i would actually make all the midfielders in the Rangers squad cross the ball all day and all night long. Whether its from corners or set pieces. The amount of times Josh Windass gifted the ball to their keeper was ridiculous.
  11. This! Playing against a bottom table team, with 10 mins to go and we keep fuckin around, playing short passes in our own half, not even trying to get the ball forward and chase a winner. Pathetic. I honestly think it is no longer possible for him to change things.
  12. At some point in the 2nd half, before he got subbed, he was making a run chasing down an opponent deep in our half, tackled him and got the ball back. Halliday and Holt didnt do that the whole 90 mins. I think he has a better understanding of how things work at Rangers than our current manager.
  13. The saddest thing of all is that seeing Rangers struggling against a bottom table team, not having a clue how to create chances, and looking average, is not even surprising anymore.
  14. At least he showed some desire to change things in the second half. Something that his teammates were lacking terribly.
  15. Midfield was non existent. Defense did ok at times, apart from their goal. Wes was terrible today, and even though the whole crowd, team, cleaning lady and referee could see it, his teammates kept passing the ball to him. Slow as fuck build up play, no ideas in midfield, the only one who tried was MOH, along with Kenny Miller, who at the age of 36 is running back and closing down opponents when our midfield isnt even trying. Pathethic. We will learn from it. And produce the same woeful performance next week. I wonder if those players hadnt already got tired of being booed for months now.
