  1. Correct. They also got part of the Sandy Jardine stand when it first opened.
  2. Fantastic gesture which will be remembered by the supporter for the rest of his life. Small things like this are what make our club special.
  3. Apart from his tackle on Scott Brown can anyone tell me what he did?
  4. Yep, ex-Inter player.
  5. Out of touch with majority of supporters thoughts doesn't even come close imo. Ally looked after his own interests first and foremost and to portray him in a different light is both naive and disingenuous. His attempting to hide his true salary pre-ipo plus the timing of his reaching a settlement will also leave a bad taste in the mouth. Great goalscorer but probably the worst manager we've ever had.
  6. Went to a game v Morton in 84 (game after we played in Dublin) and asked Jock to autograph the programme for my younger brother. When told where we came from and what time we had to leave that morning he invited us inside the stadium and said he would get someone to show us around. Two minutes later Davie Cooper appears and says " The big man asked me to show you around" Spent 20 minutes in the company of my favourite player getting a tour of all the places we had read about or seen ended up in a room with the team who were having their lunch whilst watching Grandstand. Got every player to sign the programmes for my brother and his mate (they were 14 at the time and never said a word) before been given a key to the trophy room and told to "hand it in at the front door when your finished: Unbelievable gesture by Jock and one never forgotten by the luckiest three people in the country..
  7. I have never seen any footage from the game.but can remember all the goals were scored at the Copland road end. Huge result as we had lost to both Aberdeen & Hibernian in the opening three games, iirc there were chants of "Wallace must go" at the home game v Hibernian. Little did we know that after that season we would have to wait nine years before the next one.
  8. Fantastic game and still one of my favourites. Stood in the Copland road terracing and got soaked but didn't care. Cooper was fantastic in the second-half as were Smith & Russell. No TV coverage though, i think there was a blackout for the first few weeks that season
  9. Agree with you hence the reason i won't go there. A few friends think differently and are willing to return to Rugby Park.
  10. I also know a few fans who will go to Kilmarnock but nowhere else so yes.
  11. Didn't know they were playing Inter.but i still think we'll be away on opening day.
  12. The previous years champions always start with a home game so i doubt we will be playing at Ibrox.
  13. Not doubting that we will and would never criticize any fans for doing so, I personally refuse to contribute anything to the clubs who voted for our demise.
  14. Wont be giving a penny to any club other than my own.
