  1. That was absolutely shocking today, and showed everything that is wrong with Warburton. Disastrous defending, taking risks, no Plan B, predictable, and unable to make meaningful changes. He just can't get a side defending at all, we were appalling. The sooner Warburton is gone the better. It's such a shame, I really like him and it breaks my heart to see it not working, but he's just not good enough to be our manager. He talks a good game but just doesn't know how to manage. Five wins out of 12 is appalling.
  2. Windass really looks a fantastic player (shite shooting aside). We've played well today, although Kilmarnock have been absolutely abysmal.
  3. We're a quarter of the way through the season, Celtic are already out of sight and we're struggling to keep pace with diddy sides.
  4. Warburton is not the man to take us forward, and here are numerous reasons why: he doesn't spend more than 5 minutes on the opposition, everyone at the club saying it's all about us confirms his irresponsible lack of consideration over the opposition's strengths and weaknesses, no plan B, do plan A better even though it's clear we get punished by decent opposition that can defend and finish on the counter, Weir saying Warburton is more attacking than he'd like to be which suggests a naivety towards defending from Warburton due to his lack of high level footballing experience, the Brentford defender saying he was always left exposed again confirming Warburton's reckless and naive attitude towards defending. Unable to defend corners repeatedly. Kiernan being shite yet still playing, when after the final he should never have been anywhere close to the first team again. Celtic could have had 5 off us in the semifinal, but that was airbrushed from history after our win, they had like 22 shots or something. Sadly they did recently take 5 off us when we played the same way. Here we are in the top division, struggling to score goals as we are so predictable, and we still lose stupid goals both due to Warburton's setup exposing our defence needlessly and his style of playing it out from the back leading to our defence giving chances away when put under pressure. Thing is, our defence has been garbage since day one, it would be madness to think it's ever going to change under him, he had the same problems at Brentford and has continued to have them during the year and a half he's been here. Then there are the signs that Warburton just doesn't have the psychological makeup to manage a big club like ours. Warburton got rattled easily by Stubbs last season and showed signs of cracking under pressure when some results didn't go our way last season. This year he looks like a man haunted, rambling on that draws against diddy sides are good results, they're not Mark, and they never should be. A stubborn unwillingness to admit his system is wrong and doesn't suit either the players or the division. THAT more than anything will probably be the end of him. He just doesn't seem to have any answers, thinking that we've just been unlucky in every match, yet at what point will he accept it's not luck, it's him that's the problem? No-one can say it's because the board haven't backed him, he's spent more than anyone in the league outside Celtic yet we're fifth. His transfer fees and wage bill dwarfs that of the other premier league sides. All of the above suggests he's not the man for us I'm afraid, and the sooner we all realise his flaws are inherently fatal to any serious title challenge ever, then all the better, as it means we'll be trying to find a man who does have the answers. Don't get me wrong, I find it very painful to see all of this as I really do like Warburton, he'll always have a special place in all our hearts after last season. I really will wish him all the success in the future, but it just won't be at Rangers I'm sad to say.
  5. Glad to see King making itit clear anything less than second in the league will be treated as abject failure, thus inferring Warburton will be out the door should that happen. Frankly he should be chased long before that outcome is a mathematical fact. A decent manager would have this squad performing better than what Warburton is currently achieving.
  6. Problem is Warburton's budget dwarfs every single team in Division 1 and the top tier (Celtic aside). We ought to have won division 1 at a canter. We should be comfortably in second place now yet Warburton is contriving to fail at even that. No surprise people want his head as he's coming across as stubborn and lacking answers.
  7. Would have him back in a heartbeat, and I don't think he'd refuse the call.
  8. Didn't Aberdeen take points off Celtic in every (or almost every) game last season?
  9. I've tried explaining to people on here before that we were incredibly lucky to win the semi last year. Instead I was called every name under the Sun. Celtic missed an absolute bucketload of clear cut chances, and on any other day would have been out of sight. Fact of the matter is Warburton is completely incapable of getting us to defend, he gives teams too many chances, and he's now being found out big time with his predictable and easy to defend against team selections. I've now come to the conclusion he's never going to win us the title, the sooner he's out the door the better as we're just going to keep getting spanked with him in charge.
  10. Smith had a net spend of about £3 million for his second time in charge, so probably less than what Warburton has currently spent. How much have Hearts spent? Aberdeen? Yet we're struggling to keep pace with both in the league. Fact of the matter is Warburton is proving himself to be a failure in getting the best out of his squad. I really don't believe Celtic are light years ahead of us in personnel, they're only ahead of us in what they're getting out of their players.
  11. Doesn't fit with the Judas narrative people are trying to peddle though so no-one is interested.
  12. Didn't he say at one point near the end he was hoping we might nick it? Sure he said that?
  13. This is the problem, he's backed himself into a corner with his silly comments. If he changes to 442 now and mixes it up he'll lose face, but it needs to be done as we're mince. I don't get why he's so fixated on 433, as he did go 352 before against Hibs last season, which obviously shows he's willing to change things. It's bizarre he's not done so yet, and it'll be his undoing if he stubbornly persists with a formation that is predictable and not working.
  14. He's wasted £2.5 million on Garner and MOH who are both clearly shit. You'd trust him with £15 million?!!?!? I honestly think if he got that much we'd still have Kiernan playing. It's not knee jerk to point out our defending has been shit since he first arrived, and that we've been mince all year. Warburton just can't get this group performing, and I don't see how spending money will change that.
  15. McInnes is doing a far better job with a squad put together on a fraction of Warburton's budget. In the final, above us in the league, clearly knows what's required of being Rangers manager and won't feed us tedious shit about learning from our mistakes, but never actually doing so...
