Just to let you know it was during a party that the young team mate thought it would be funny to set Barton's shirt on fire, so Barton Reciprocated. Not defending him, but the "young team mate" was a little cunt as well by the sounds of it.

It's why I'm wanting him to succeed so much, you'll not get a person with a more suitable character in charge of our club. The guy has immense morality and media ability.

Folk like you really are at the arse end of RM, who cares who was right and wrong about Barton. Fact is, our club and all of us have collectively lost out because of it. That's not something to brag about is it? I didn't know much about Joey Barton, but was all for him signing because of what I was told by people in the know. You really think I give a shit about being wrong? You think any of us do? I just feel like shit because I feel he could have been a good player for us, instead it's been a very costly exercise which will result in very few positives and a multitude of negatives.

I was just talking in general TMB not about Barton, just found the previous comment a bit weird that's all.

Even I gave the board credit regarding getting in Warburton and his original players, but frankly that doesn't mean I'm Mr special baws and can now blame the board for this and that. :/ Weird thinking on here sometimes.

Can admin change the title of this because it's completely wrong, Traynor did the right thing and if anything embarrassed the stupid journalist intent on asking the same question over and over. He protected Warburton and deserves credit for it.

Completely disagree, we have something that the EPL does not have and that's the old firm game. We have never ever really pushed the positives in our game and we've had other countries put down our product and we've just sat there and said I suppose you're right. I remember when the English started saying the EPL was the best league in the world and it clearly wasn't, but they kept pushing it and pushing it and eventually it is what it is. We have been naive, no business is run the way businesses used to be run. In the past if you had a great idea, an invention or whatever - that's all you needed and you would make it. Now, is different, you have to have that idea and market it well otherwise others will soak up the income streams that you're going for and nothing will be left for you. There are exceptions of course, but that's the way modern business is conducted. I know it's probably too late now to do anything about it, but I'd rather we tried to conduct business the right way and get back up there instead of running away to another league. I hope you all don't forget that I was in agreement to some sort of champions league alternative that actually starred the champions from each league, that's different. Having an overseas league is just nuts in my opinion.
