With Kranjcar out, and Forrester, Windass, Crooks and Rossiter not fully sharp I wonder if we'll see McKay more central? Moved more centrally a few times last season and looked good. Equally you could look at last season, and identify how few injuries we had with a very small squad. Could just be bad luck, could be the unusual pre-season - tough to pin it on the manager.

I think that Kranjcar and Hill offer something different. Senderos and Garner, don't look up to much, and Barton is a disaster.

It takes more balls to make the 'correct' decision for the team, rather than appease one player IMO.

On another day we'd have beaten Hamilton, Killie and Aberdeen. I'd be more worried if the performances didn't deserve more. He made big mistakes against Celtic however. I'm certain we'll finish 2nd this year, 1st was just unrealistic on our budget.
