  1. Rather senderos than kiernan tbh. I would normally back him but how many chances can give the guy? In his defence (pardon the pun) he doesn't really get turned inside out by anyone he's just so prone to mistakes and shows no signs of ironing them out of his game. Some saying they hate senderos for the sending off against them but big amp done the same against Parma and still the fans loved him. With a run of games senderos should be more than capable of the Scottish league. I don't know how anyone can put a not match fit rositer in the most important area of the pitch against the thug and lanky bastard, that's just asking for a repeat of September. i want to see that Brendan Rodgers absolutely gutted on Sunday- cunts as bad as O'Neill
  2. Our only hope is to attack them and take our chances. Be brace with the ball and make the right decision. We need to play and do the things right that we did so well last year I.e small triangles and Wallace on the overlap. McKay needs to interchange with the opposite side a lot more than usual to mix it up with crosses. I would definitely have forester up be side the striker, his movement can be the key to unlocking the their defence
  3. If we lose then this place will be like the death star exploding
  4. 😂😂 nicely put. Also if I remember rightly we spent quite abit on Whittaker and jig etc and still finished 2nd. its quite a hard one in Scotland. In business terms it makes no sense in outlaying 10-15 million in one season unless you are guaranteed champions league football as winning the league would leave you running at a loss. So it's either instant investment and risk or we invest as per income and say go for it in 3 years when we should by then have a team easily capable of winning the league.
  5. This has got to be the most sensible post on the whole warburton matter. We can't keep banging on about MOH and Garner being poor. 1 garner might just come good but although I agree with o'halloran being a bad signing Walter had loads of bad signings. Fucking amdy faye and James lard arse Beattie his last 2. no matter which way you look at it the best players cost the best money and the current squad as it is are more than capable of getting 2nd and dare I say a cup. One thing about warburton though is he should try getting 1 or 2 from Europe, there's places like Austria and Poland with good quality players who would probably cost the same as MOH. But back to your post it's spot on
  6. One thing I've noticed since 2012. An iconic squad number has been held by 2 fucking wankers. Seriously, what is it with plastic hard men and the number 8 shirt?
  7. Wonder if Barton will be giving athenray? Ive not even got big match nerves for this one and that's strange as I'm usually commentating to myself on previous games and likely goal scorers. Probably change by Thursday night. Id prefer to see niko on the bench but then who plays instead? On current form holt and Halliday start, forrester for me has to be up on the right beside the striker he was effective there last year. So that only leaves windass who's not 100% fit. We can't play anyone not 100% against these cunts wes tavernier. Hill. Kiernan. Wallace ?? Halliday holt forester waghorn McKay niko miller and maybe windass get sub appearance
  8. And folks go on about Newcastle fans turning on managers
  9. This, but to finish 1st the board will have to back him seriously. I'm not saying we need to match the spends but a couple hundred grand won't win you any top flight title. Anywhere between 5-8 million spent on 4 players would be a massive upturn in performance and results. if we had to spend more than that then I'd quite happily just let the scum have it as playing with the clubs future is a big no no from me.
  10. Watch clips of ally compared to anyone after him and the desire he shows to get the ball in the net. That's why he scored all those goals because he actually wanted to. Look at modern day strikers and you can't name many that will bust a gut to get that tap in or get the diving header. That's why ally gets in my team and that's why he won golden boot twice on the trot. to dismiss that because of his 4 years in charge is just childish.
  11. The only thing I've seen online was that Emilio posing for a photo and the camera man said we are the people!! He soon fucked off
  12. Would love a good crack at that cunt and his pishy lyrics. In the plus side kenny bags a brace on Sunday?
  13. 31, and and Id have to go with mccoist purely from a strikers POV, was excellent at how he would stretch that extra yd to get a goal. 2nd for me is jorg- living in England I only saw games on tv till 2003 but he was immense and in Europe under advocaat he was a class act with a thunderbolt shot. The game against Psv he took the corners and he would whip it straight to the back post. Always remember his goals against the scum aswell. 3rd is Goram. Again never saw live but his reflexes were excellent and that save from pvh just summed him up
  14. If they do then they can go take a fuck to themselves
  15. There isn't many 2 shots 1 goal strikers in the world so in theory if we put waghorn through the middle and actually start creating then he'll do well enough for us. Holt does a lot of unappreciated work for the team and his miss wasn't all that of a sitter either. He's over stretching for the ball and as he connects the ball has a small bounce and hits the laces and goes over. How that is a sitter I'll never know. mckay is infuriating-can be so predictable for 60-70 mins then bang he does something which oozes quality, but watch Wallace aswell, apart from the assist he's not gone on the overlap much this year and I honestly believe that both of those players depend on each other having a good game. theres signs of improvement but it's just coming slowly
