  1. EVENING TIMES £52,000 for homeless projects after Ibrox sleep-out Rangers fans raise £52,000 for homeless projects after Ibrox sleep-out Charitable football fans have raised more than £52,000 following a sleep-out to try and combat homelessness. About 200 Rangers supporters braved the cold and slept out overnight on the technical area at Ibrox Stadium in three events in November to raise money for the club's charity foundation. The money raised is being split between Glasgow City Mission's evening drop-in service, the Simon Community's nightstop project and the Rangers Charity Foundation's work in the community. Graham Steven, partnerships and communications manager at Glasgow City Mission, said: "On behalf of everyone at Glasgow City Mission and the people we serve, I would like to wholeheartedly thank the Rangers Charity Foundation and fans of the club for their incredible support once again. "The money raised from this year's sleep-out events will enable our vital evening drop-in to take place: a safe and welcoming space to receive food and practical help for people battling homelessness and other forms of social disadvantage. "Homelessness can happen to anyone and it's encouraging to see so many fans take part in order to make a big difference." Connal Cochrane, director of the foundation, added: "Our fantastic fans have done it again. "Last season the sleep-outs raised £70,000 for Glasgow City Mission's winter night shelter, meaning our big sleep-outs have raised over £100,000 in total for projects supporting people affected by homelessness in our "Our supporters should feel incredibly proud of the impact that this will make. "It's clear they feel strongly about the issue of homelessness and we can't thank them enough for their commitment and generosity."
  2. Proud of that one? He's the fucking Rangers player in both pics.
  3. Likely yes because the sales raise funds for the banners, flag displays, card displays etc which adds to the atmosphere and backs the team. Think back to some of this seasons displays. So aye indirectly if not directly. Also think these lads spend a good few of their hard earned, and hours, devoting it to the club. Don't see them personally profitting or on the take. But then that's only a gut feeling because I see the fruits of their labour. Whereas lying brand........
  4. Genuinely, good luck to them. But what's "belter" "cracker" about those?
  5. Fantastic effort all concerned.
  6. That the ex Falkirk and Hivees guy, aye?
  7. Beast within their club. Sacked. Not reported. Was in their main headline, not done the article on them yet.
  8. Nah Thistle taking spotlight away from them. STV news now.
  9. Thistle named now for not reporting beast activity to plod. Stv news.
  10. We attack paedophilia, those who do it, those who hide it and those who permit or do not challenge it. We publically highlight the actions our club formally took in a broadly related scenario (DR Neily article) and call on Scottish football clubs to do the same. We refer to lessons not being learned (ie the wrongs) from Saville type scenarios where previous similar offending AT THE TOP END OF SCOTTISH PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL is known to have happened but question it's scale and if/how dealt with. We ask whether football addressed and resolved the issue from the times of employee(s) of a Scottish club being jailed whilst others were investigated or whether football and the involved club(s) concealed it again as per Saville. We demand the FA treat this with the seriousness of the English FA and conduct a similar scaled enquiry. We demand justice for affected, the abused youths and their families. For the innocent. Something along those lines would work for me, as I posted on another thread.
  11. Believe Chelsea have made a statement since being implicated. An ex Rangers employee has been implicated. We are being slurred by association by images of Ibrox in articles on paedo activities. How long before the guilty by association, no smoke without fire, Old Firm offending etc etc references become the norm? It will happen and then folk will scratch heads asking how the fuck we got implicated.
  12. We have not brought ourselves into this matter. We are being tarnished with a paedo-involved brush. Time to go into ostrich mode......
  13. The fans being targetted is fair game. The club being targetted re the paedo slurring is clearly permitted. State any Board member picks his nose and the lawyers will sue your arse off. The Rangers way.
  14. Horsing around. The mare never said neigh.
