  1. Policing at games is no longer about maintaining public safety at large gatherings of people, but now about sitting behind a desk reviewing plod videos and social mhedia pictures afterwards, perpetuating an agenda as we all know which ones are being targetted. It is a spineless approach that protects them and not the public at large. When plod are witnessing a law being broken they should be acting immediately. It matters not as to whether an assault is being carried out or the easily offended act is being broken as in singing. The law is the law and when seen to broken, action should be taken at that time, otherwise the balance in the scales of justice may be tipped to favour the agenda driven as we have witnessed, leading to guesswork, evidence being tampered with, stories fabricated. Lack of intervention at the time sends the wrong message and only serves to perpetuate crimes not prevent them. Plod should not witness a riot taking place and wait untill later to take action because they know there will be video evidence. Yes it can and should be used later, but immediate action at the time of the event should be taken. Plod intervening may mean more bears being arrested for breach of the easily offended act, but that would a strength in making a stand in court. Not guilty your honour and expose that particular law for what it is. They are a shower of lazy self serving, agenda driven spineless bastards who steal a wage.
  2. Pretty much normal for a training ground and yes the biggest football club and exactly why it was needed to be put to bed effectively and expediently. As for ACAS, exactly my original point, it is guidelines but gross misconduct does not neccessarily mean more complex and longer and in fact in the interest of both parties to conclude expediently. Employment law is not just framed for some wee arsehole in a wharehouse, whom you can play with all day long if you so wished, but even that one wee arsehole can cause havoc reputationaly. The Club whilst big in footballing terms, is small by comparison to multinational corporations who have much more to protect and global investors to answer to, but it is all relative. Hence why it is imperative to deal with in particular senior high profile employees effectively and expediently. No matter whether the offending party is in breach or you just want rid as not fitting in. If you have a cancer you cut it out immediately, not wait to let it spread. None of it is rocket science. It's all down to cupability, liability, negotiation and money. Not hard and it doesn't take weeks. I do know that you understand the five days in ACAS and it is there for a reason.
  3. Thought the guy was a real tidy player and readily deserved his place.
  4. Talking of sleekit. How's the master? BTW, are you becoming my personal troll? You do understand that obsession is a psychiatric disorder and an affliction of em.... That post, apart from me shredding it, if I could be ersed, it is spooky and maybe better you seek help.
  5. You have changed the original point made, but no matter, I'm not disagreeing, but he isn't alone going by our performances.
  6. Can't see any hatred anywhere. However, there's a weird section of people here who deny, delude, deflect and level accusations and innuendo at fans to try and stifle debate if the opinion differs from theirs, rather than openly debate any points raised. Strange world indeed. Oh wait a minute, it's an internet forum. That explains it.
  7. I doubt anyone has it in for Halliday. Only commenting on the OP. There is always two sides to a story and to date, none of us know what it is.
  8. Ok so previously the story went it was Halliday telling McKay to get a spine. So WTF has an arguement between Windass and Barton got to with Halliday. Windass a baby or what. Halliday such a billy big baws, so why didn't he take it up direct with Barton? If Halliday had a problem with Barton, he should be man enough to take it up with him directly. If I was Wndass, I wouldn't have been happy with Halliday telling me to man up. If I was Barton, I would have fuckin taken it personally as well and decked the mixer. It all says more about Halliday than it does abput Barton. All still speculation of course, so why is Barton still here? Answers on a postage stamp.
  9. No one is disputing what he is, but none of that justifies the wait, unless.......
  10. It's all guess work. However if Barton was clearly in the wrong and guilty of gross misconduct he would have, should have been sacked long before now. Remember ACAS normally "Within five days", so what's the problem?
  11. Can't see anyone praising him for his performances. The SCSF aside, I can't think of a game where most player's performances could be given pass marks. We have been dross for the most part of 2016 and mostly against diddy teams and long before Barton came. Who unsettled the team then? As for the last scum game, we had a team full of shrinking violets. Must have been Joey's fault we were simply out classed and out played by a team who barely broke sweat, eh? Time Warburton got his finger oot and this team fucking man up. No excuses.
  12. Fucking unshackle him and let him at it and that goes for a few others too.
  13. Well at 34 they aint going to get any better than he had before. That said, that holding role is no place for him.
  14. Yes, but he aint no spring chicken anymore.
  15. 34. Legs gone and who needs the grief?
