  1. Bringing in 3 or 4 players of quality could earn us an additional 20points next season. A solid CB, an aggressive CM, a creative player, and a striker who can get us 20+. We'll look like a much improved side.
  2. Brutal
  3. If we can get 3 or 4 players of genuine quality then we'll be a completely different prospect next season. A creative player and striker who can get 20+ a season should be top of the list. We struggle to score goals and finding players who can do that in the SPFL shouldn't be too hard. We'll win a lot more games and finish with a much higher points total. I hope Pedro has players in mind who can give us quality on a budget.
  4. Managers have been stressing the importance of fitness for decades. Warburton and Delia loved talking about how fit their teams were and how well they could train. What matters, above everything else, is ability. If we have a player of quality then I'm certain he'll play, even if he's not the fittest. Holt and Windass are plenty fit but they will never have the ability of someone like Kranjcar.
  5. Kenny's been just as shite as the rest of this squad and 10 goals for a Rangers striker in nowhere near good enough. Kenny's performances have improved towards the end of the season and those with short memories now think he's been playing like that all season. There's guys playing for Ross County, Motherwell, and Partick Thistle who are more prolific than Kenny. I appreciate that Kenny works hard but he's nowhere near good enough to be playing for us if we're serious about winning things again.
  6. Without Kenny Miller's 10 goals we would've been relegated
  7. Aye, if it wasn't for Kenny Miller we might've ended up 3rd and got our arse handed to us by Celtic.
  8. 10 goals in 2500 minutes of league football isn't "excellent" by any definition.
  9. I didn't know his dad was Brandon DiCamillo. I always wondered what happened to him when he left Jackass.
  10. Wallace and Tavernier work very hard to get up and down the pitch for us. Celtic aside, I doubt anyone in Scotland has a better pair of full-backs. If we get better players in the centre of defence and a midfielder who can provide cover we'll be okay.
  11. MON's Celtic team used a 3 at the back system and it had success domestically and in Europe. Their 3-5-2 focused on strength and physicality which is something we should be looking to do right now. We can build that type of team on a budget and become a lot more competitive. Brendan Rodger's team might shit the bed against a physical team and we're missing an opportunity. I'm not sure playing the same formation and style as Celtic will work as long as they're spending three times as much on players. We need to go down a different route to them and many teams have had success with a direct and physical style.
  12. We need to replace the majority of this current team there's no escaping that. No formation will work while occupied by the talentless shitebags currently in our employ.
  13. I'm a big fan of the 3-5-2 and I do feel we have a few players ideally suited to make it work. We'd need some CMs who can battle, a CAM capable of scoring and creating goals, with a striker who can get 20+ a season. Having 3 CBs on the park with some ball winners in front of them would certainly help us become a more physical team. This is a direction we should be going down as a means to make us more competitive. It would also give us a real threat from set-pieces and that's long overdue.
  14. A few people acting like arseholes shouldn't result in everyone getting punished. People have a right to drink in this country and we should be allowed to do it while watching football. Better policing would've prevented the type of thing we seen at Hampden.
  15. Some people on here sound as if they enjoy living in a nanny state. If the people of Scotland want to enjoy a drink at the football then we should be allowed to. The current ban isn't preventing any trouble as it's more of a societal and cultural issue anyway.
