  1. It's utter drivel that isn't even worthy of discussion to be honest, except to maybe point and laugh
  2. You might be quids in then, could see him staying till end of season while we line up the Brian Kidd and the De Boers dream team
  3. Jose Mourinho was interested in bringing Brian Kidd back to Man Utd but Pep Guardiola will keep the Mancunian at Man City. Pep Guardiola has retained Brian Kidd as part of his Manchester City coaching staff due to his vast experience in the Premier League. Kidd was earmarked as a possible replacement for Ryan Giggs by United manager Jose Mourinho , who has been joined at United by six coaching staff members, including assistant Rui Faria and goalkeeping coach Silvino Louro. City insisted in May Kidd was 'going nowhere' and Guardiola clarified his decision to keep Sir Alex Ferguson's former assistant at the Etihad. "Kidd is helping me to get to know the players," Guardiola said. "He knows the club and the Premier League." Kidd, who scored in United's 1968 European Cup final win on his 19th birthday, played for the Reds for seven years before he returned as a community coach in the late 1980s. Read More Pogba 'tells friends he wants to join United' Ferguson promoted Kidd to assistant manager in 1991, and the duo presided over four Premier League title wins, two FA Cup triumphs and a League Cup win. Their relationship, however, soured after Kidd left Ferguson to manage Blackburn in 1998. Ferguson severely criticised Kidd in his autobiography over his preference to sign John Hartson over Dwight Yorke, and labelled the Manchester-born coach 'insecure'. Suggests to me he might be willing to let him go now
  4. Ah I've misunderstood then, is he counted as a permanent managers if he lasts 10 games? You never know.
  5. I also concur.
  6. You've thrown your money away regardless of the odds you got. Unless there's a cash out now option
  7. Not sure why the big reaction, it's not anything we didn't already know
  8. Lighten up ffs, there's a small chance we might get Frank De Boer, it's not a total non starter as you are making out. Granted, it isn't likely but it's fun to dream.
  9. We'll be playing in Europe next year. He might think he has the contacts and ability to compete with Celtic if he's given a modest budget (ie not pennies but not the ridiculous amounts that some pundits seem to think will be required). Anyone would see that as a success. Don't underestimate the draw of a huge club like Rangers.
  10. Ooft, those figures for 2014 and 2015 would appeal to King!
  11. I'm not going to get carried away here, it sounds as though Fdb will give some thought to coming here but will it materialise? It's difficult to say. You need to take into account various factors, firstly: .... Ah fuck it, who am I kidding!
