Warburton Fans' Favourite for Rangers Job

Rangers fans have voted overwhelmingly in favour of having Mark Warburton installed as new manager. A poll ran on RangersMedia forum saw the former Brentford boss pick up over 46% of the votes cast by 386 members. This was over twice as many who voted for the second favourite, Ian Cathro, who won 21% of the vote.

Current Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes finished in third place, with 14% of fans backing the former Ibrox midfielder. However, the poll does not make for happy reading for current caretaker Stuart McCall, with just over 3% of voters wanting to give the Englishman an extended contract.
