He'll be back just in time to play a couple of games in December and get a move in the January window
-
Were there not some laughable rumours (surprise surprise) that the reason he wasn't great with us was that the real Kanchelskis had been kidnapped by the russian mafia and we had actually signed his twin brother?
-
Well in terms of midfielders this summer we signed a well known trouble maker and disruptive influence who has proved to be just that. An injury prone guy from semi retirement in the USA who's injured. An injury prone youngster from Accrington whos also been injured his whole time here and another youngster from Liverpool, who surprise surprise we've yet to really see due to injury. So using the law of averages, eventually if we keep signing them we'll stumble upon a decent midfielder at some point. Either that or he'll be out injured as soon as he joins.

Hasn't exactly been a glowing endorsement for that 'Superior Striker' coaching programme he's been taking part in.

The white Akinfenwa. Seems to have bulked up by about a stone since he was injured and he's a worse player for it.

Team wise I doubt there'll be much changes from Wednesday, maybe Miller and Tav will be brought back in. The goalkeeping situation I'm not sure about, Gills and Foderingham I'd say are pretty evenly matched, however Fod does have a habit of conceding goals from distance. Whether this is a weakness, the opposition see it as a weakness therefore are more inclined to hit shots or its just plain luck who knows. As far as predicting a scoreline, I'd go with what I suspected on Wednesday, we'll score early and win by 2 or 3 goals or Killie will score with their first effort, we'll struggle to get back into the game and it'll finish 1-1.

Did he tell you that himself yeah?
-
I would argue that its not the fans but in fact our Manager and players who seem to think this shoud be the case.

No surprise tonight, easy to say in hindsight but I suspected tonight would either be a scrappy come from behind draw or the night things would finally click. The latter of course being more from hope than expectation. Where Warburton goes from here is the question, the media knives are already out for him, that will only be amplified now. If he comes out with the usual 'players took a lot of confidence from Sunday....we trained exceptionally well.... we'll analyse and learn from this' then he'll deserve all the flak that will inevitably come his way.
-
I think the problem is that we've signed a lot of players since January and despite all the homework, analysis and character checks not many of them seem to be an improvement on what we already had.
-
Looks like we now have the much vaunted plan B - damage limitation and offer no threat going forward. Or we can stick with plan A - gung ho at the back, pass the ball to death and offer no threat going forward.
-
Questions do have to be asked as to why we've barely seen more than fleeting glimpses of the majority of players brought in during the summer.
-
They're good enough to be squad players, problem is we have 20 odd squad players and no clear starting 11.
-
I wonder if Warburton will be one of those happy people.

He's a poundland Diego Costa. Seemed like a panic buy at the time and coming off a rank goalscoring season was never going to be easy for him here if he didn't start banging in the goals from day 1.
