Has to be Gilks imo. He has been given the cup games and should be allowed to continue. Would send out the wrong message to drop him and wouldn't be fair. Fod quite rightly starts all the Premiership and Scottish cup games.

Has to be Rangers santa. I remember seeing him on the telly, front row of the East enclosure just to the right of our dugout when I was a wee guy. Had the pleasure of getting a photo with him in the Louden a year or 2 ago.

Absolutely tragic news. Sad, sad day. RIP and condolences to his family and best of luck to the other injured party's.

Why what was allowed to happen? He competes in a sport with physical violence involving getting punched to the head. Incidents like this, however unfortunate they are, can occur. Would you want a full investigation every time a footballer broke their leg?

Wasn't at the game due to work but happy for Halliday, deserves that armband for growing up one of us. That said, Wallace is still the rightful captain imo. Fair enough his form hasn't been great recently but form is temporary, he will come good again.

One of ours Probably doesn't give a shit about you or me and he's been in the door 2mins and done nothing but run his mouth off whilst contributing hee haw on the park.

Only read page 1 but imo the club and/or Mark Warburton want to wash their hands of Joey Barton. I don't believe for a second that the club has given him 3 weeks off to think about what he has done - even though he has already been sent home for a week....to think about what he has done. The club are no doubt going to be consulting lawyers to make their next step, giving him enough rope for him to hopefully hang himself by blabbing on social media which in turn would be breach of contract. If Joey Bartons agent had any sense at all though, he would be telling him to keep his mouth shut whilst he gets in contact with other clubs as I surely think he is on his way out.

Didn't hear any fan at the game mention Barton let alone slate him. And my question still stands, should we not have cheered Halliday?
-
Should we not have cheered Halliday today, is that what your saying? Because Barton wasn't there to boo or cheer so I don't know what your getting at.

Big decisions need made for this game as we need a reaction, quickly. I'd go with Fod Tavernier Wilson Hill Wallace Windass Holt Forrester Waghorn Garner MOH

Had a bit of spice to his game.

Clear as day he has come into the squad, caused unrest in the dressing room and tried to fling his weight around. The buck lies with MW for bringing him up here with the potential baggage we all knew he would carry. So far he hasn't hit the heights on the park and this has made this episode worse imo, but whilst he still wears our jersey he will get my full backing and hopefully comes good as there is a great player there when the form comes.

Offer them a tenner and tell them to ram it.

Wonder what would get said if we hung an effigy if the Pope from the stands at Ibrox the next OF? On a side note, remember the pope effigy getting burned on the bonfire in Lewes, Sussex. They have a different one each year, think it was Alex Salmond a couple years ago

Do you need tims in the stadium for you to create an atmosphere? 50000 bears giving it laldy would create a fantastic atmosphere and would intimidate them. Vice versa over at their dump. I can remember the Champions league game against Valencia where they had practically no away fans and Ibrox was rocking.
