  1. I would think that it's the 139 years in the top flight that actually count mate ( not including this season), making our average success rate ±39.5%, but your illustration (with a few numerical tweaks) is sound and you have made a few valid points. Although your illustration does bring the current situation down to a more realistic statistical view, it does not however allow for the emotional side of the argument, or salve the pain we are all feeling about how the start to this season has emerged so far. If only sorting out the team's on field problems were as simple as doing a few calculations and coming up with the right conclusions we would all be much happier as the outlook would be easy to solve. I understand the feelings of a lot of our support and I'm in agreement with some aspects (Players not good enough/the manager's team selections being the main ones), but not with the calling for the manager's head, as I think the situation does not warrant such drastic steps so far. I like what MW has done for The Club and believe he has a future with us, I hope he gets the chance and that he can turn it all around and get the team he requires to follow his formula through to a consistently winning one. If he can turn things around by the end of this season, I would expect him to get another to achieve what we all want the most(the 55th senior title), hopefully, if not .... then perhaps my stance will be different .....
  2. Top suggestion from a Top man GB ..... it's the right thing to do after all.
  3. In a proverbial nutshell mate, spot on.
  4. Thanks for the update from Morgan's mum mate, and hope she recovers fully and is back at Ibrox supporting us as she has been for so long. Best wishes to her and her family.
  5. Sadly not disappointed at this outcome, as it was a foregone conclusion that they twats at the SFA would cover their arses, and lo and behold, there you have it ..... sweep sweep sweep ....
  6. Passed my test in an Austin Maxi ..... it was like driving a living room ......
  7. Not a biggie, but quite pleased that MW has been allegedly using proper industrial language to communicate his evident distaste of the officials view of the proceedings (especially that free kick that wasn't a free kick) last Sunday. Good on him ....... Allegedly .....
  8. Once again we see the gross disparity being meted out to our fans. Well done VB for highlighting the discrepancies afforded to our support. They tried to kill us but failed and all the aggression from the police will not change that fact, staying away is however a personal choice and one that is up to the individual. Personally, I will not be giving them a brown penny, never mind a blue pound, but I will not get into a row with another Bear with a different outlook on this matter as the monetary figures are quite small so does not make all that much difference to opposing teams coffers. What will really hit their clubs and fans harder, will be us turning them over on the park, that and only that is what will shut them up ..... nothing more.
  9. Well said mate
  10. Owning a Pub, never mind a Rangers based one such as The Louden, is one of the toughest businesses to just keep your head above water, let alone make a modest profit. The Louden (Or any Rangers related Pub, and any other genuine Rangers related business for that matter) should be commended for it's forward thinking and enterprising approach to all things related to The Rangers. This should not be criticised too harshly, as it benefits our fans by giving them a place to congregate relatively safely pre and post match. In this austere financial climate with Rangers Pubs shutting right left and centre It is very important that we have a "local" within the Ibrox vicinity that is a recognised Ranger's landmark on match days. People will always be looking for a place to have a few before and after Rangers games and The Louden is the more prominent due to it being officially connected to The Club, and should therefore be supported by us in it's attempts to stay open, and this invite to the City fans is to be applauded, as it helps to spread the word to promote to other supporters what we are about in a positive manner. This cannot be underestimated in these times of anti Rangers press coverage in our own country with the spreading lies about our Club and in particular our support. We may not all get along on social media boards, but should all stand together when genuine enterprise is shown (in this case for sure) that promotes the good and best side of our support, our hospitality, and if this idea is a success, we all share in the knowledge that the City fans will go away with positive feelings about our great Club and our support. That and scudding the scum should send them home contented ...... PS:- It would also be nice if some form of promoting of young Joshua Adair's life threatening condition was highlighted in some form to the City fans, as I believe he is from the Manchester area and a little help from the City fans might just boost his fund that would see him having a good chance of receiving the funds needed for his life giving operation, any help will help .....
  11. Spot on Bud. Good luck Mark, hope you get a good response.
  12. Since 1908 (108 years) they have only won 17 trophies, so yes I agree mate, hardly an intense rivalry or worth the bother from us as it all comes from their fans ........ It's called an inferiority complex, and to compensate they try to make it something it ain't ..... Sheep shagging does that to them ..... it's a curse ..... with no known cure. But as far as the "Press" are concerned it's a slightly different story ....... the only excuse in their case is stupidity, sad, sad stupidity ..... also with no known cure.
  13. Sutton Is a complete Fucking clown, and couldn't lace DJ's boots, and if they had played in the same era DJ would have proven this on the playing field, whether as an outstanding forward with a tremendous eye for goal, or as a stalwart defender also with a tremendous eye for goal. Not always agreed with DJ as a pundit, but respect the man for his achievements on the park as one of the best we ever had, whereas sutton has achieved absolutely nowhere near the level the DJ has, be it playing or as "a would be pundit" to coin a MW phrase.
  14. Great sentiments from our captain and our manager, who both seem to know that winning is the be all and end all, and that that is the only solution to our less than bright start to the season. Hope we turn the mutton munchers into mince on Sunday.
  15. I may be wrong Oleg but I think that's Ronnie McKinnon as I remember him.
